We support Colombia for the implementation of the 2016 Peace Plan, in its entirety. A sustained, balanced and inclusive approach, aligned with the interests – first and foremost of the Colombian people – remains the key to achieving lasting peace. In this context, we take positive note of the progress made in rural reforms, steps for the reintegration of former combatants, and efforts to reinforce protection measures.
The 2016 Final Peace Agreement set Colombia on a path toward lasting peace and prosperity. Pakistan remains committed to supporting the Colombian people for the realization of this vision of peace.
