Slovak President Zuzana Caputova on Monday formally asked the left-wing Smer-SD party head Robert Fico to form a new government.
The Smer-SD party won Slovakia’s parliamentary election on Saturday with 22.94 percent of the votes, the State Electoral Commission said on Sunday.
