U.S. House speaker McCarthy says he will not be ousted: CBS

U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told CBS that he will not be ousted shortly after hardline Republican Matt Gaetz told CNN that he intended to file a motion to vacate McCarthy this week for striking a deal with the Democrats to avert a U.S. government shutdown without the spending cuts demanded by the right-wing caucus.
