Economist: China's 4.8% growth signals strong economic recovery ahead


The Chinese economy has demonstrated generally stable growth so far this year, with gross domestic product rising by 4.8% in the first three quarters, reaching nearly 95 trillion yuan, or over 13 trillion US dollars. Shi Jiao, an Assistant Professor at Peking University HSBC Business School, shared her insights on the overall economy, stating that this figure indicates a solid start for the country’s economic growth. She noted that recent favorable policies are expected to further boost China’s economic performance in the upcoming quarter.
