As the general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly opened Tuesday under the theme of rebuilding trust and managing transformation for an effective UN for all, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres again urged world leaders to regulate artificial intelligence, warning that rapid advances in computing power, data and algorithms are outpacing global oversight.
