Ambassador Khalil Hashmi spoke at the China (Gansu)–Pakistan Industry Promotion and Economic & Trade Matchmaking Conference, jointly hosted by People’s Government of Gansu Province and Pakistan Embassy in China, bringing together over 120 participants from government, industry and business community of both countries.
The Ambassador briefed the participants on Pakistan’s investment policy landscape, opportunities and efforts undertaken by the Embassy and four Pakistan Consulates in China to mobilize investments in 21 priority sectors.
The conference featured thematic presentations by senior officials of the Gansu Provincial Government, representatives of Chinese enterprises, the Embassy of Pakistan, Pakistani companies and financial institutions, followed by interactive session aimed at strengthening economic ties between Gansu Province and Pakistan. Subsequently, productive matchmaking interactions were held.

会上，甘肃省政府高级官员、中国企业代表、巴基斯坦驻华大使馆、巴基斯坦企业和金融机构代表作了专题介绍，随后进行了旨在加强甘肃省与巴基斯坦经济联系的互动交流。之后，还开展了富有成效的对接洽谈活动。
