Azerbaijan ready for tripartite meetings in Brussels with EU and Armenia, says president aide

Azerbaijan stands ready for tripartite meetings in Brussels soon involving itself, the EU and Armenia, said Hikmet Hajiyev, aide to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, on Thursday on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Aliyev this week turned down a meeting in Spain with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in talks involving the EU. Hajiyev said that “it is incorrect to present this as Azerbaijan’s refusal for talks with Armenia.”
