British airport to launch new China-UK cargo flights

At the G20 summit, leaders from China and the UK highlighted the broad scope for collaboration between the two nations, especially in trade and investment, clean energy, financial services and healthcare, all with the goal of improving the quality of life for their citizens.

Colin Dai, the country sales director for China at the Glasgow Prestwick Airport, told CGTN that the airport has recently entered the Chinese market with a focus on facilitating e-commerce trade between China and the UK. They are in close collaboration with Chinese airlines to introduce scheduled cargo flights between China and the UK in the near future.
