Türkiye and Qatar ink 8 cooperation agreements
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Ankara, Report informs, citing the Turkish press.
Al Thani is in Ankara to participate in the 10th meeting of the Türkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee.
“We hosted the Emir of Qatar, my dear brother, Tamim bin Hamad, and his delegation at the Presidential Palace, and after very productive talks, we signed eight agreements. We will continue to strengthen our close cooperation with friendly and brotherly Qatar,” Erdogan said on X.
The parties signed eight cooperation agreements in various fields, including humanitarian aid, communications and media, sports, passenger and cargo transportation in automobiles, and technical cooperation between defense ministries.
