Interest of investors in Kyrgyzstan is very high – Head of Economic Diplomacy Department

AKIPRESS.COM – “We have partners all over the world, and interest in Kyrgyzstan is very high,” Chyngyz Eshimbekov, Director of Economic Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Investors from America, Europe, Asia and Arab countries are interested in Kyrgyzstan, he said.

“In fact, our embassies are doing a lot of work to attract foreign partners and companies to projects that are being implemented in our country. Also, together with our ministries of the economic block, we are working to attract foreign investors to the highest priority projects in Kyrgyzstan, including in the field of energy, agriculture, trade and logistics complexes and export of our products abroad,” he said.

Chyngyz Eshimbekov added that today the President and the Cabinet have set the task of implementing economic diplomacy for the ministries and embassies of Kyrgyzstan.

“We are on the edge of this work to attract investment, to promote the economic interests of Kyrgyzstan in the international arena. Our country is currently developing at a very high rate, and we must make our contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan, since it is the diplomats who are the conductors of our economic interests abroad,” he concluded.
