Osh hosts training of government bodies for coordination of actions during emergency situations

AKIPRESS.COM – Command-staff exercises themed “Actions of government bodies when the threat of emergency situation occurs and is registered” have been held in the city of Osh on September 18-20, the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources reported.

The training was attended by employees of the Environmental Safety Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, employees of the State Civil Defense System of Osh region, civil defense specialists of ministries and departments and specialists of the Osh regional office of the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The purpose of the event is to coordinate the joint actions of civil defense authorities, rescue services and departments of the local state administrations during emergency situations.

The exercise included practical exercises on rescue operations, evacuation of civilians and emergency response to natural disasters, including earthquakes and fires.
