Chinese Path to Modernization, a six-episode documentary series produced by the Business Center of China Media Group (CMG), premieres on Saturday.
Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese nation has risen from poverty and backwardness to great rejuvenation. As President Xi Jinping has pointed out, “Achieving modernization is a dream that the Chinese people have strived to fulfill since modern times.” Thanks to the painstaking efforts of generations, the Chinese people have embarked on a path of Chinese-style modernization.
The documentary explores the country’s journey forward, focusing on people’s lives, agriculture, industry, technology, ecology and culture,vividly showcasing China’s leap from standing up, getting rich, to becoming strong over the past 75 years.
The program will be broadcast simultaneously on CCTV-2, Yangshipin, CCTV Finance and CCTV.com at 7:45 p.m. Beijing Time from September 28 to October 3.
