232,000 tons of grain and beans imported in Kyrgyzstan in Jan-Jul 2024

AKIPRESS.COM – Since January 2024 import of grains and legumes in Kyrgyzstan averaged 232,000 tons, according to the report of the Department of Chemical, Plant Protection and Quarantine of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Mainly Kyrgyzstan imports about 198,000 tons of wheat and 409,400 tons of peas (chickpeas).

181,000 tons of wheat are imported from Russia and 16,000 tons of wheat is imported from Kazakhstan.

Peas are imported from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran.
