Bahrain extradites suspect wanted for terrorism charges
Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): Bahrain’s International Affairs and INTERPOL Directorate, in cooperation with the Public Prosecution, has successfully extradited a Bahraini national from a neighbouring country. The individual was wanted to serve court issued sentences for involvement in terrorist activities.
The Directorate confirmed that the extradition was carried out after an international alert was issued based on an arrest warrant from Bahrain’s Public Prosecution.
All necessary legal procedures were followed, and the suspect has been handed over to the relevant security authorities.
