Graphics: China and Africa deepen infrastructure cooperation

Infrastructure is a cornerstone of China-Africa economic and trade collaboration. China supports Africa’s focus on infrastructure development as a key strategy for economic revitalization and encourages Chinese companies to engage in Africa’s infrastructure construction, investment and management through various models.

The results of China-Africa cooperation in infrastructure have been impressive. Africa is now China’s second-largest overseas contracting market. Chinese companies have signed over $700 billion in contracts and generated more than $400 billion in revenue, completing numerous landmark projects in transportation, energy and beyond.
