Kyrgyzstan reduced its import of gasoline by nearly 5%, but spent 22% more

AKIPRESS.COM – In the first six months of 2024, Kyrgyzstan reduced its import of gasoline by nearly 5%, but spent 22% more, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.

301 million liters of gasoline were imported between January and June, amounting to $141 million.

This represents a 5% decrease compared to the same period last year, when over 317 million liters of fuel were imported at a cost of $115 million.

This suggests that Kyrgyzstan purchased gasoline at a slightly higher price this year compared to last year.
