Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan hold political consultations in Astana
AKIPRESS.COM – Kazakh-Uzbek political consultations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Ermukhambet Konuspayev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov, Kazinform reported with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed issues of Kazakh-Uzbek cooperation in the political, trade and economic, water and energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The sides noted with satisfaction the progressive development of bilateral relations, sustainable political dialogue, as well as the intensification of cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation.
The schedule of upcoming meetings at the highest and high levels was reviewed in detail. Special attention was paid to issues of preparation for the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan.
