World Cup 2026 qualifier round 3: Iran vs Kyrgyzstan match moved to Isfahan city

AKIPRESS.COM – The venue of the match between the national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Iran has changed; it will be held in the city of Isfahan. The previous reported venue was Azadi Stadium in Tehran.

Kyrgyzstan national football team begins its qualification journey for the 2026 World Cup (third round) on September 5.

The Kyrgyz footballers are in Group A together with national teams of Iran, Qatar, Uzbekistan, UAE and DPRK.

 Kyrgyz head coach Maksim Lisitsyn’s team will play against Iran on September 5. 

The Kyrgyz national team had 4 matches with the national team of Iran. All of them ended with Iran’s victory with a combined score of 2:21.
