President Japarov inaugurates textile factory in Kara-Balta

AKIPRESS.COM – President Sadyr Japarov today inaugurated a textile factory in Kara-Balta via a video link.

The cost of the project made $5.7 million, including $2.3 million private investments and $3.4 million loan from the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

155 new jobs were created at the factory. With launch of the factory in full capacity, the number of work places will grow to 600.

The maximum production capacity of the factory makes 50-70 tons a day. Initially, the factory will produce 10-20 tons.

The factory will produce knitted fabrics made of polyester and lycra, 85% of which will be exported to such countries as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia.

The area of ​​the plant is more than 31,600 sq m.

The factory works in a test mode, the entire technological chain is activated. The first products were produced, and part of it was sent to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
