Qatar-Oman trade reaches QR5.4bn in 2023, says chamber official

Speaking on the sidelines of the 50th anniversary of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s held in Muscat, al-Kuwari lauded the close relations between both countries, underscoring the advanced ties across various fields, particularly in commercial and economic aspects.
Al-Kuwari emphasised that there are many Omani companies operating in Qatar across various sectors. Similarly, al-Kuwari highlighted the successful Qatari investments in Oman across a variety of sectors.
He stressed Qatar Chamber’s keenness to participate in the ceremony and its commitment to strengthening communication with Gulf chambers. He affirmed that the Oman Chamber is one of the most important and active chambers among Gulf chambers.
Al-Kuwari also highlighted the close relations between the Qatar and Oman chambers, citing the exchange of business delegations between both sides to explore new opportunities for co-operation across various sectors in both friendly countries.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham al-Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth. It also marked the launch of a new visual identity for the chamber, as well as the establishment of the Social Investment Centre and the Centre for Economic Studies and Research.
