Tbilisi : The 18th International Silk Road Conference will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia from 18 and 19 October 2023. Organized offline by the International Black Sea University Silk Road Conference, Tbilisi will be turned into a venue of gathering of top professionals in the fields of Politics, Journalism, Economics, History, Art, Literature, Culture, Public Administration, Law, Business, and Technology.

The event further will cater for a wholesome environment dedicated to practices, challenges and opportunities we are experiencing in this modern world.

Language: The language of the conference is English, Georgian, Russian and Turkish

GUIDELINES for Silk Road Conference

Applicants willing to participate in the conference are invited to submit their abstracts in English, Russian or Georgian language complying with the requirements mentioned below:

  • No more than 300 words.
  • English: MS Word (A4 format, Times New Roman, font size 12).
  • Georgian: MS Word (A4 format, Sylfaen, font size 11).
  • A title not exceeding 15 words.
  • Include: title of the paper, author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es).
  • Keywords.

Applicants willing to participate in the conference are invited to submit their full papers in English, Russian or Georgian language complying with the requirements mentioned below:

  • No more than 3000 words, including tables and references..
  • English: MS Word (A4 format, Times New Roman, font size 12).
  • Georgian: MS Word (A4 format, Sylfaen, font size 11).
  • A title not exceeding 15 words.
  • Abstract.
  • All papers are expected to include: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings/discussions; Conclusions/implications; List of references.
  • All papers should follow APA6 requirements for citation and referencing.
  • Georgian and Russian paper should also include an English abstract along with the Georgian one.

Abstract Submission and Registration – October 07, 2023.

To submit your full paper or abstract, please email it as an attachment (acceptable formats are .doc and .docx) to silkroad@ibsu.edu.ge (please indicate “SR2020” in the subject line of your message so that we process submissions faster). Authors will be notified of the review outcome within 2 weeks after the arrival of their submissions.

Full Papers –November 25, 2023. We welcome the submission of presentation proposals at any time of the year. All proposals will be reviewed within two weeks of submission.
