McKinsey’s Joe Ngai: The next China is only China

Earlier this year, McKinsey China Chairman Joe Ngai’s remark “The next China is China” went viral. In a conversation with CGTN anchor Guan Xin, Ngai said he is even more convinced “The next China is only China” after six months of observation. Despite talks of reshoring, friend-shoring and de-risking, he believes China’s supply chain advantages remain irreplicable.
