The Cyclone Tej claimed seven lives in Yemen, and 1,031 families were displaced, Yemen TV reported on Tuesday.
Authorities in southern Yemen have declared a state of emergency, suspended schools and told fishermen to stay home as the country braces for Tej with torrential rain, high seas and strong winds, Arab News reported.
