Houses of two families burn down in Kok-Jangak city
AKIPRESS.COM – Two families lost their homes in Kok-Jangak city of Jalal-Abad region in one day, mayor Syrgak Zamirbek uulu said.
According to him, two houses burned down in a fire on October 20.
“A fire broke out in one of the houses due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring. The fire spread to the neighboring house. As a result, both burned down. They were built in the 1970s,” the mayor noted.
He added that a family with 3 children lived in one of the houses, and a single father with 5 children lived in the second.
“Chairman of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev learned that two families were left without housing before winter. On his instructions, construction of houses for two families began today. Completion is planned for May next year,” the mayor stated.
He said that when the fire destroyed their homes, two families were placed in the mayor’s office premises. The children were given winter clothes.
