Eskan Bank, Green Line sign agreement for development in Salman City

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): Eskan Bank and Green Line Middle East Real Estate signed an agreement to develop a government land project under the BOT system, which includes the establishment of a car care centre.

The agreement was signed by Ahmed Tayara, Deputy General Manager and Chief Business Officer at Eskan Bank, and Najeeb Mohammed Hijris, Owner of Green Line Middle East Real Estate.

The project, the first of its kind in Salman City, will be developed on a 3,292.7-square-metre plot of land, featuring a car care centre and retail spaces serving the surrounding area. This follows the launch of new investment opportunities on the government land investment platform, supporting Bahrain’s development goals.

During the signing ceremony, Tayara highlighted the success of the government land investment platform in attracting investors interested in developing key projects on government lands. He noted that the platform consolidates all investment land data into a unified system, enhancing public-private partnerships and accelerating developmental projects across the Kingdom.

On his part, Hijris welcomed the securing of the bid for this project, emphasising its contribution to developing essential sectors in Bahrain and improving services for citizens and residents. He also confirmed that engineering studies have begun, and the design and licensing processes are underway to commence project implementation.
