Justice Department of Kyrgyzstan urges to check debts before going abroad

AKIPRESS.COM – There are citizens, who plan to travel abroad, but they need to check the debt status, the press service of the Judicial Department reported on October 9.

The Department noted that if citizens do not pay debts through the bailiffs, the debtor is applied restrictions. For example, ban on leaving Kyrgyzstan.

“The law of the Kyrgyz Republic does not provide for a limit on the amount of obligations, because of which the debtors can not be applied temporary restrictions. Therefore, most restrictive measures are imposed on the basis of various fines, including road traffic violations. The court officials can impose a temporary ban on debtors to go abroad, in addition to fines for debts to citizens, legal entities, maintenance and credit obligations and other executive documents,” the press service explained.

Information on the existence of debt can be obtained by calling 0(312) 25-01-54. In addition, the website of the Judicial Department has a category “Verification of debt status”, on the portal “Tunduk” and electronic mobile banks.
