As part of celebrations marking the 51st anniversary of the glorious October War victory, the Armed Forces organised a unique art exhibition showcasing creative works of veterans, martyrs’ families, and war casualties.
The exhibition, inaugurated by Major General A. H. Medhat Abdel Aziz Fawy, Director of the Veterans and War Victims Association, runs from October 7th to 13th at the Association’s headquarters in Al-Wafaa Wal Amal, Nasr City.
The exhibition featured an array of artistic expressions, including ceramics, sculpture, copper engraving, glass painting, leather and wood products, and textiles. Additionally, the Association’s innovative prosthetic limbs and devices are on display.
This regular exhibition serves as a platform to highlight the artistic talents and skills of the Association’s members. By providing necessary tools, materials, and comprehensive healthcare, social activities, sports, and service support, the Association empowers its members to thrive and contribute to society.
The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking military officials, foreign military attachés, and a large number of veterans, war casualties, and martyrs’ families.
