Computer-Assisted Command-Staff Exercise Maharat-2024 ends in Azerbaijan

The closing ceremony of Computer-Assisted Command-Staff Exercise Maharat-2024 (Mastery) was held. The exercise was conducted between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in accordance with Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024, signed between the defense ministries of the two countries, Report informs, citing the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The ceremony honored memory of Heroes of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. National anthems of both countries were played.

The speakers noted that the main goal of the Maharat-2024 exercise is to increase the coordination and efficiency of the allied forces and to develop the strategic partnership.

In general, the progress of the exercise, the use of modern computer technologies and decision-making skills of the participants were positively evaluated.

It was highlighted that the military personnel of both countries demonstrated high professionalism in the execution of all tasks.

Certificates were presented to the participants, and a group of distinguished servicemen was awarded.

The ceremony ended with a concert program organized by the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov.
