The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed on Saturday that U.S. President Joe Biden has recently sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
According to the Ministry, Biden noted that “on behalf of the people of the United States, I send our congratulations to you and the people of the People’s Republic of China as you celebrate the 75th anniversary of its founding. The American people and I convey our best wishes to the people of the People’s Republic of China.”
Many world leaders and heads of international organizations have recently sent messages or letters of congratulations to President Xi on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.
