Transport Deputy Minister takes part in opening of Coordination Platform of Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Bekzhan Rysmendeyev took part in the opening of the Coordination Platform of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor in Ashgabat, the Ministry of Transport reported.

The Deputy Minister said that Kyrgyzstan is interested in the development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and supports initiatives to improve infrastructure and multimodal logistics.

The Ministry added that the coordination platform is a tool for monitoring the progress of projects, promoting investments, and strengthening cooperation between stakeholders.

Rysmendeyev also discussed cooperation issues with Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakyev.

The parties noted the increase in cargo turnover between the two countries and agreed to jointly resolve problems by creating favorable conditions for business representatives.
