President Sadyr Japarov and Prime Minister of Italy discuss issues of cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM – President Sadyr Japarov held talks with Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni on October 3 as part of his official visit to Italy.

An official welcoming ceremony was held at the Chigi Palace.

The parties exchanged views on the development of trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Italy, as well as prospects for cooperation in the spheres of investment, energy, transport, logistics, tourism and other key areas.

Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni noted that Sadyr Japarov’s visit is a good opportunity for the further development of Kyrgyz-Italian relations and confirmed Italy’s readiness to strengthen ties with Kyrgyzstan.

The President of Kyrgyzstan assured of his determination to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Sadyr Japarov also noted that today Kyrgyzstan is actively moving towards sustainable development. He added that today one of the main tasks is to strengthen international cooperation and attract foreign investment. In this regard, Italy is one of the promising partners for Kyrgyzstan.

Japarov invited Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
