Massive pipeline rupture cuts off water supply to 28 villages in Armenia
A water crisis has hit Armenia after a major pipeline accident left 28 towns in the Echmiadzin district without water.
Report informs via Armenian media outlets that the 600-millimeter pipeline, a crucial water source for the region, ruptured, causing a staggering water loss of 100 liters per second.
The affected towns, all located in the Armavir Province, will face water supply disruptions from 12:00 PM on October 4 until midnight on October 5.
