Historic milestone: Egyptian Military Academy opens new headquarters in the NAC

The Egyptian Military Academy is among the most prominent educational institutions in Egypt, contributing to the preparation and qualification of a new generation of military leaders who possess efficiency and stick to discipline.
The graduation of a new batch of cadets at the academy today (Thursday), constitutes the fruits of relentless efforts in training and educating an elite group of young Egyptians, who have been prepared to bear the responsibility of defending and protecting their homeland.
It represents a turning point in the students’ journey, a transition from training to actual military service, taking over new responsibilities in safeguarding Egypt’s borders and national security. It is a day that combines pride in personal achievements, and a deep commitment to serving the nation with dedication and loyalty.
The ceremony was a tribute to the success of these graduates, who have shown high levels of performance, dedication and commitment over the years of study. It also marks the beginning of a new phase of giving back to the homeland under the banner of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
“Possess power, seek peace”

During the graduation ceremony, held at the newly inaugurated headquarters of the Military Academy in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Head of the Egyptian Military Academy Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher stated: “Congratulations to Egypt and its great people. Today (Thursday) is a historic day as we witness the opening of a military edifice that was built according to the highest global standards. This achievement was made, thanks to the support of the political leadership and the General Command of the Armed Forces.”
“We congratulate the future leaders, this year’s graduates of the academy and military colleges, and we pray for success in their journey. Through the integrated system of the academy, we aim to prepare a new generation of cadets capable of keeping up with global developments amidst the complicated regional and international circumstances. Our priorities are to consolidate the comprehensive power of the state,” Lieutenant General Zaher added.
In exclusive statements to The Egyptian Gazette, he said: “We strongly believe that he that seeks peace must possess the power to maintain it. The foundation of this power is the soldiers who have been trained in this great academy. We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to achieving this historical milestone, which demonstrates the strength of our nation.”
“Building strength and maintaining the state prestige necessitate a modern educational environment that combines national values and advanced military methods to face a world that is full of challenges,” Lieutenant General Zaher added.
Military College: Qualifying combat officers with professional skills, knowledge

Major General Mohammed Salah Al-Turki, Deputy Director of the Military College for Egypt Military Academy, said that the educational and training programmes at the college are constantly being developed with the chief goal of building military officers who are aware, conscious, and capable of thinking and analysis to make decisions.
He also highlighted the civilian education offered to students at the Military College, mainly with the college’s integration into the Egyptian Military Academy. Students study courses from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, earning a BA in any of the two fields, in addition to their military qualifications.
Navy graduates urged to uphold Egyptian military doctrine

Rear Admiral Ayman Adel Al-Daly, Deputy Director of the Naval College at the Egyptian Military Academy congratulated the new graduates, urging them to adhere to the Egyptian military doctrine, which is characterised by strict discipline and awareness of events surrounding the country. He advised them to avoid rumours and destructive criticism, and adopt discipline as a lifestyle as a key to success.
Adel Al-Daly also emphasised the prime importance of continuous training and learning, teamwork, and keeping updated on the latest advancements in their field.
Air Force College advances technological training for modern warfare

Major General Pilot Ahmed Mohammed Al-Shazly, Deputy Director of the Air Force College at the Egyptian Military Academy highlighted the technological advancements at his college.
This includes the development of curricula, modern training methods, and the qualification of professional teams to improve instructors’ skills and training tools, keeping up with modern technology in the Air Force and operating different aircraft models in the Egyptian Air Force.
He announced that in the upcoming year, students will be trained to programme the training devices.
Air Defence graduates ready to protect Egypt’s skies

Major General Wael Mokhtar Mohammed, Deputy Director of the Air Defence College at the Egyptian Military Academy said that graduates have been trained in line with the highest standards to protect the nation’s skies and carry out missions with discipline and excellence.
Fresh blood has been injected into the Armed Forces in general and the Air Defence Forces in particular, he said.
Military Technical College ranks 2nd in global NASA competition

Major General Moataz Ibrahim Abu Al-Nour, Director of the Military Technical College, said that cadets have undergone basic training from day one, tailored to their specific fields.
Graduates receive a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, in addition to a certificate of completing military sciences. He announced that the college ranked in a NASA’s global competition.
In an exclusive statement to The Egyptian Gazette, he emphasised that the educational programmes are developed according to the latest global scientific systems.
AFCM gains British accreditation for world-class curriculum

Director of the Armed Forces College of Medicine (AFCM) Major General Ayman Mohammed Shawqi stated, on the sidelines of the graduation of the 7th batch, that the study duration is now five years, followed by a two-year internship.
He highlighted the braid range of medical specialisations there, ncluding deep, space and disaster medicine, and field surgery, alongside military subjects taught in military colleges, as well as sports training.
In an exclusive statement to The Egyptian Gazette, Shawqi noted that the AFCM’s curricula have been accredited by the British Health Council, aligning them with the curricula of British medical schools.
Military Technological College poised to lead in advanced weaponry

Major General Akram Salah Eddin Mahmoud, Director of the Military Technological College congratulated the graduates and their families, as well as the Egyptian people on the 51st anniversary of the 6th October War victory.
He voiced appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for raising the Egyptian flag at the new headquarters of the Military Academy in the NAC.
He also highlighted the college’s vision of preparing technical officers with the highest levels of efficiency and skills to keep pace with the immense developments in modern weaponry and equipment.
He urged the graduates to remain constantly informed with the technological advancements.
President Sisi honours Military Academy’s top graduates
Father of new graduate Adham Amr Ahmed Hammam, who ranked first at the Military College, expressed pride in the discipline his son exhibited throughout his educational journey.
Hammam noted that his son’s hard work culminated in today’s (Thursday’s) honour, as President Sisi personally awarded him the title of the first rank among the newly graduate batch. The father expressed his joy that this honour coincided with the 51st anniversary of the glorious October War victory.
The parents of cadet Anas Moussa El-Sherif, who ranked first at the Air Force College, expressed immense joy at their son’s recognition by President Sisi.
They proudly highlighted their son’s commitment and the high educational and ethical standards adopted at the Air Force College. El-Sherif ‘s mother recalled how her son initially enrolled at the Faculty of Law, but “the dream of joining the Air Force persisted”.
Even after completing his second year at the Faculty of Law with excellence, he insisted on joining the Air Force College, she said. The dream has been fulfilled, and El-Sherif was honoured by President Sisi as the top graduate at this year’s batch of the Air Force College, officially joining the “Eagles of the Sky” — the Egyptian Air Force.
Cadet Adel Hatem Ahmed Labib, who ranked first at the Naval Academy, stated that today (Thursday) was the culmination of hard work and dedication, crowned by recognition from President Sisi. The day marked the beginning of his journey to join the “Lords of the Sea” — the Egyptian Navy, he stressed.
Cadet Ahmed Shokry Abdel-Ghani, who ranked first overall at the Armed Forces College of Medicine, said that he graduated from high school with 99.3 per cent.
Joining the military academies is an unparalleled honour, he said. He proudly pointed to the technical and professional development and the exceptional teaching staff at the college, rivaling global medical schools.
Cadet Dalia Mohamed Hassan voiced her pride in joining the Egyptian Military Academy, which represents honour for anyone. Today (Wednesday), her efforts were rewarded as she received the Military Duty Medal from President Sisi, Dalia said.
Riham Atef, the top nursing graduate, expressed her happiness at joining the Military Academy. She was honoured by President Sisi. She hopes to put her knowledge to the best use in serving the Egyptian military.
The father of Cadet Amr Ahmed Mohamed, who ranked first in the Technical Military College expressed his joy at seeing his son’s dream come true. He said that his son was the top student in his high school at the provincial level and had enrolled in Petroleum Engineering, but his true dream was to join the Technical Military College. Today (on Thursday), that dream came true, especially after President Sisi recognized his son’s achievement on a day that the whole world witnessed – the graduation of the nation’s best.
