Kyrgyzstan reduces import of shoes from Turkey by 1.5 times in seven months
AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstan reduced its import of shoes from Turkey by 1.5 times in seven months of 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Kyrgyzstan purchased 2.3 million pairs of shoes from Turkey for $5.2 million in January-July. Last year, 3.5 million pairs of shoes were imported for $8.8 million.
Despite this decline, Turkey remains the largest supplier of shoes for Kyrgyzstan, accounting for almost 87% of imports.
