Kyrgyzstan increases import of soft furniture from China by four times
AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstan imported almost 4 times more soft furniture from China in January-July 2024 than in the same period of 2023, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Kyrgyzstan imported 66,300 parts of seating furniture worth $1.4 million from China in January-July.
For comparison, 17,000 furniture parts worth $621,000 were imported from China last year.
In addition to China, Kyrgyzstan imported soft furniture from more than 20 countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Japan, Germany, Turkmenistan, South Korea, Italy, Belarus, Pakistan, Vietnam, Malaysia, France, Iran, Estonia and others.
