Heads of districts of Bishkek visit senior citizens and present gifts
AKIPRESS.COM – The leadership of the district administrations of Bishkek congratulated the residents of the city on their International Day of Old Persons on October 1, the press service of the mayor’s office reported.
The heads of districts organized visits to houses of elderly people and provided material assistance and food products.
The leadership of the Oktyabrsky district headed by Janybek Orazalyev congratulated Huziakhmetov Gabdulla, who turned 104 years old, as well as Jumashev Aspect, Puharev Vasily, Moskalenko Nina and Ashirbayev Nasima, who celebrated their 100th birthday.
The leadership of Pervomaisky district headed by Sarylbek uulu Ulan visited Aliyeva Gulshan, who turned 105 years old, and congratulated Usenov Soken, Sinusova Nina, Jubenko Anna, Fedorova Maria, Kibrayeva Asimkul and Zachareva Nina, who turned 100 years old and over.
Head of the Sverdlovsk district Kubanychbek Aitakunov congratulated the long-living residents of the district, among them Voronina Maria (born in 1922) and Muslimova Ugulkhan (born in 1920), handing them cash certificates.
In honor of the International Day of the Old Persons, Bishkek city mayor’s office provided targeted social assistance to 3,802 low-income elderly residents. Special attention was paid to 16 long-term residents aged 100 and over, who are also provided with material assistance and food products.
In addition, the Wedding Palace celebrated 114 couples, who have been married for more than 50 years. They were given gifts.
