Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Party and state leaders present flower baskets to fallen heroes at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on Monday morning ahead of the 75th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.
The leaders are joined by representatives from all walks of life, marking Martyrs’ Day.
