45 women in Batken awarded with Mother Heroine and Ene Danky medals

AKIPRESS.COM – Some 45 women were awarded with Mother Heroine orders and Ene Danky medals in Batken district.

Among those awarded were 23 women awarded with Baatyr Ene (Mother Heroine) orders and 22 women awarded with Ene Danky medals.

There are about 3,000 mother heroines and about 2,000 women awarded with Ene Danky medals today in Batken district.

The Mother Heroine order is awarded when the seventh child born in the family reaches the age of 1 year and if the other children are alive.

The Ene Danky medal is given to a mother of 6 and more children. A total of 365 women across Kyrgyzstan were awarded this title.
