China’s top legislative body reviewed a draft decision on gradually raising the statutory retirement age in China on Tuesday.
A delayed retirement age will not have an effect on employment rate, what ultimately affects employment is economic development, Zheng Bingwen, director of the World Social Security Research Center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said during the 2024 Bund Summit in Shanghai.
