395 illegal aliens fined 1.6 mln som in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM – The Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Interior Ministry of Kyrgyzstan held an operation “Nelegal” (aliens illegally staying in the country) from August 10-29, the press service of the city police said on August 30.

During the operation 926 undocumented immigrants have been checked in Bishkek, including 395 immigrants having been fined 1,664,000 som.

Some 216 foreigners were fined 86,000 som for bike riding.

The Service employees also checked other migration rules, including rules of stay, violations of rules of foreign trade in Kyrgyz Republic, violations in the sphere of external migration and others. All cases were directed to court for deportation decision.
