Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan allows all five parties to take part in parliamentary elections

AKIPRESS.COM – The Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution allowing all five parties to participate in the elections of members of the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament, as well as regional, district and city councils, Podrobno.uz reports.

According to the resolution, the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party, the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, as well as the democratic party “Milliy Tiklanish” will participate in the elections, which will be held on October 27.

The parties now must nominate candidates for MPs. The nomination of candidates begins 65 days before the elections and ends 45 days before the elections.
