Mudflows damage 380 houses in Issyk-Kul region

AKIPRESS.COM – Rescuers are eliminating mudflow consequences in Issyk-Kul district.

143 rescuers and 3 motor pumps are eliminating the consequences as of 11:30 am, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Rescuers from Balykchy and Karakol cities and Ak-Suu and Tyup districts, 15 divers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 146 employees of local self-governments, 30 employees of the civil defense service are working on sites.

A total of 348 people are involved in the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster.

The total number of damaged houses in Temirovka village (150), Korumdu village (300) and Bulan-Sogottu village (30) is 380. 11 stores are flooded, including 5 in Temirovka, 6 in Korumdu, 5 in Bulan-Sogottu. Two resorts were damaged in Korumdu village, and three in Bulan-Sogottu village.
