Yehia Zakaria, Chairman and CEO of the EgyptAir Holding Company, has appointed Pilot Mohamed Alyan as the new Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Airlines. Alyan succeeds Pilot Mohamed Moussa, who was thanked for his contributions during his tenure.
Alyan previously served as Assistant Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company. A seasoned pilot and trainer on the A330 aircraft, Alyan has held several leadership positions within the company, including Assistant Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines and General Manager of the Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC).
