AKIPRESS.COM – Aiperi Medet kyzy lost in a fight for a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.
She competed in the freestyle wrestling in the 76 kg weight category.
In the first fight, the the wrestler defeated the representative of China. She won against the athlete from India in the quarterfinals.
Medet kyzy fought against Kennedy Blades from the USA and lost to her with a score of 6:8 in the semifinals.
She fought for the bronze medal against Milaimys Marín from Cuba on August 11. The match ended with a score of 6:0 in favor of the athlete from Cuba. Aiperi Medet kyzy took 5th place.
