Bekzat Almaz uulu loses to Spencer Lee in quarterfinals
AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstan’s Bekzat Almaz uulu was defeated by Spencer Lee of the United States in men’s freestyle wrestling 57 kg of the Olympic Games in Paris.
On August 8, he started from the 1/8 final by taking victory over Meirambek Kartbay of Kazakhstan with a score of 4-1.
In the quarterfinals, he lost to Spencer Lee with the score of 2:12.
If Lee reaches the final, Almaz uulu will have a chance for a repechage round on August 9.
The semifinal matches will begin at 22:15 Bishkek time.
