When it comes to beach volleyball, the Olympics have graced some of the most iconic and picturesque venues. The Eiffel Tower Stadium in Paris and Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground in Beijing are two examples.

The Champ de Mars is a beloved spot for Parisians, known for its stunning views of the Eiffel Tower and its role as a gathering place for many celebrations. In 2024, a temporary outdoor arena, the Eiffel Tower Stadium, was built on this iconic public garden to host the Beach Volleyball and Blind Football events.
The setting not only provides a magical backdrop for these events, but also allows spectators to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of one of Paris’ most iconic locations. After the Games, the temporary structures will be removed and the Champ de Mars will continue to serve as a beautiful space for locals and tourists alike to gather, exercise and relax.

On the other side of the globe, Beijing’s Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball venue offers a different but equally fascinating experience. Covering an area of 14,150 square meters, this temporary venue has a seating capacity of 12,200. Notably, it was the first official beach volleyball competition and training venue in inland China.
After the Olympics, the area was transformed into a recreational space, featuring a 4,000 to 5,000 square meter swimming area along the adjacent lake, complemented by a sandy beach.
