Olympic Games: Kyrgyz athlete Uzur Dzhuzupbekov loses in quarterfinals of Greco-Roman wrestling
AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyz athlete Uzur Dzhuzupbekov lost in the quarterfinals of Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in men’s 97 kg.
He started with a victory over a wrestler from Lithuania in the 1/8 finals, but lost in the quarterfinals to Mohammad Hadi Saravi from Iran (0:8).
If the Iranian reaches the final, Dzhuzupbekov will compete in the repechage tournament for a chance to win a bronze medal.
The semifinals will begin at 22:15 Bishkek time.
