Three drug labs eliminated in Astana and Almaty in a month

AKIPRESS.COM – Three large drug labs were eliminated in Astana and Almaty in July, while eight citizens of Kazakhstan were detained and taken into custody, Vlast.kz reports with reference to the the National Security Committee.

“Over 93 kg of synthetic drugs, 70 liters of mephedrone, as well as 255 kg of precursors and laboratory equipment were seized during the searches. The cost of the seized drugs may be more than 2 billion tenge on the “black” market,” the report says.

A pre-trial investigation is underway.
