TOKYO : Japan’s jobless rate in June fell to 2.5 per cent from the previous month, government data showed on Tuesday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared with economists’ median forecast of 2.6 per cent.
The jobs-to-applicants ratio slipped to 1.23 in June from 1.24 in May, separate labour ministry data showed. The median forecast was for 1.24.
