Inner Mongolia "solar panel Great Wall" accelerates China's greening
China is making significant strides in low-carbon development, with the International Energy Agency labeling it “the world’s renewables powerhouse.” The IEA projects that by 2028, China will contribute nearly 60% of the new renewable energy capacity globally. Despite being rich in coal resources, China’s installed capacity for wind and solar power has now surpassed that of coal-generated electricity.
